Common Ground is a project developed by the community for the community with multiple entry points and outcomes that are yet to emerge. It is the flavour of Venus Bay and Tarwin Lower, it is about stewardship and sharing, welcome and inclusion, arts and cultural practices and fun.
Common Ground is a communal lens, a way of seeing and being seen, creating springboards for cultural identity, recognition, inclusion and shared responsibility.
We don't know what it will look like... it may be a playground, a gathering space, artistic representation of our intangible cultural heritage, games, music, events, activities. Our imagination is all it takes to create fertile Common Ground.
